If you right click on the inbox, select properties, and look on the General
tab. It lists the full path and file name. Note that this only applies to
Outlook Express. I believe Outlook is different, but don't have a copy
handy to look at.

Exactly what file is the local inbox folder (the file name and extension?)
I too am wrestling with this problem and would like to try to fix it.
