First, a couple of "no brainers":
Have you verified that the tablename is correct in the DSN and that Imail is
set to use that table name in the external database setup?
Is you DSN using the SQL driver?
Does the Imail machine have the proper write permissions on the SQL machine?
(if separate)
What authentication method are you using in on the SQL database, NT login
or, name and password? If using NT login, both machines must be in the same
domain, the Imail services must be running under an account with
Administrator privileges, not the system account. You can check this in
Services in Control Panel, Start Up...
Also, verify that your field types are EXACTLY what Imail expects to see.
Make sure field type and length match EXACTLY what is listed in the KB. Do a
search for "field type"
That should keep you busy for while :) Let us know if you still have
problems....
