What the experience here with ISP's allowing client to manage their own
Imail virtual host? Not bad, the learning curve is about the same as unix
systems. Imail is pretty simple and we haven't had to explain it more than
3 time to any one host admin. Down side as far as I can see is some
companies switch personnel rather quickly and the curve starts over again.

Do clients want this? Yes, I'd say they do. It makes the system more
flexable and resellers love it.

Do ok? Mostly, I've mentioned to the local college that is looking for a new
consolidated mail system that it's, "so easy an English Proffesor could run
it." Unfortunately the state is pushing sendmail.

Screw it up? Occasionally but no more so than with unix based systems. Lost
passwords (usually due to the problem sited above.

Abuse it? Rarely, none actually to my experience.

Is it a manageable commercial proposition? With Imail it is very
manageable.

Do you charge extra for the host admin feature? We offer it as a value
added service.
