Hi Frank,
I think this is a pretty negative attitude to the problem that Ron is
having. LDAP's a standard protocol and as such if the COM component is just
using the protocol then why should that be any different from a normal mail
client (after all thats idea of protocols).
And secondly we are having similar DOS style problems with IMail LDAP in
certain circumstances so ignoring the problem will not get us closer to a
solution.

Well first of all you Ldap was never intended to be used in this fashion. If
you use a normal MAIL CLIENT it works just fine. So stop blamin ipswitch for
your self induced problem that only exists because you are trying to do
something that most likely can't be done because it was not created for that
purpose. oh ya and it's objectclass="person" not
objectclass=person...........
