First off, if there is an archive for this list somewhere I'll be glad to go search
that first for a solution to my problem. I don't notice one anywhere so I'm going to
go ahead an hit you guys up.
I've been working with a co-worker for several months on our customized templates for
IMail 6.0. We've got the look we want and we've managed to
find some creative solutions to several issues in the process. There is one in
particular that we cannot seem to get past though.
In the standard template for READMAIL.HTML there is a set of buttons at the top and
bottom of the page that used to move around in the mail message.
NEXT, PREV, etc. For some odd reason the next button doesn't show up on some messages.
It's very sporadic. In some mailboxes it works fine. In others the next button
disappears at the 5th message regardless of how many messages may follow it. All our
other navigational buttons work just fine.
In the page code, after the server has parsed the IMail tags, the code for the next
tag is entirely missing. It's as if IMail thinks there isn't another message even
though page count clearly indicates that there is. It may have something to do with
adding new HTML forms before the "Buttons" form. I'm not certain about that at all
though
I'm guessing I'm not the first person to run into this so any help here would be
greatly appreciated. After scratching my head and trying every possible configuration
for literally weeks I'm at my end on this one.
