But where does the message really come from? If you try to get/send mail
and Outlook produces the error message, then the error isn't really coming
from your mail server. If you are seeing that message in the IMail logs, or
you are getting a "bounce" or "reject" message that has that error in it,
then maybe it is being generated by IMail.
Does the error message say "mail.domain.com" in it?

That sounds a lot like an error message I've seen in Outlook (not with
IMail). If it is coming from Outlook, it's a Microsoft issue.
