Maybe ...

I have 6.0 installed w/ only two virtual domains. But our clients are
netscape only and I couldn't get the virtual domain users to get POP
mail. Web mail was fine, but not pop. I called tech support and was
told Netscape email client is a funny critter. In the username in
Netscape, you have to put this:
username%virtualdomainname

Note the percent sign and not the @ sign.

netscape appends the listed domain name to the username in its
validation attempts. However, once netscape sees the @ symbol, it
assumes everything after that is the domain name and doesn't append
anything else. Hence, for netscape it only sends:
username@virtualdomainname

while IMail is looking for this from netscape:

username@virtualdomainname@virtualdomainname

Or that's my take on the whole thing. I could be wrong, but I know when
I use the percent sign in the username, everything works for POP mail.

Oh, and as an aside. I've called Ipswitch tech support three times now,
gotten three different people, and received good support from each
call.
