Adrian,
Can you locate that message (by the To: or From:) in the Queue and copy both
the Q and D files? With copies of those, one could put them into another
servers Queue and see what happens.
Of course, while in the Queue, observe the 'Number of tries' and if
non-zero, and incrementing, then IMail will bounce it after it hits the 'Max
tries'. Then you would have a valid 'bounce' message for us to look at.
You should also be able to see (maybe just after the message arrived in the
Queue) in the logs, IMail processing it and that should show the delivery to
the other addresses (assuming IMail is doing the sending!). If this is for
an incoming message, then Scott is correct, the sending Server should
recognise IMail's response and stop trying to send an 'invalid' address and
bounce the message back to the sender. Next time, a bit more log lines (the
whole transaction, is best) would help.
