You are right, of course. :-) 

But where is the situation that one gateway can no longer do all the outgoing 
communication? I believe that you need to have a faster connection before you need 
more than one computer to do the work. One (powerful) computer can produce traffic for 
a 34 Mb line. Am i not right?

We talked about "one gateway", not that IMail does all the outgoing traffic.
