One IMGate box I installed for an Imail user handled 5 million msgs 
in/out in November, rejecting 1 million incoming (20%).  and the box 
is 80% idle.

of course.   A list server that can send 100,000 msgs/hour is also 
going to be hitting on DNS for 30 MX and A queries/second, etc, etc.
