In that case, you are correct, the virus problem is not your problem (as in,
you won't get hurt directly if viruses go through).

A couple things to consider:

o If your customers get viruses, would they consider switching to the
comptition?

o Would you be able to get more customers if you added virus scanning as a
free service?

o If you host domains, would people pay extra for virus scanning?

o Would it be almost as effective to just warn your users of the dangers of
viruses?

There are no easy answers, and a lot depends on the type of users you have.

That is true.  But, you do have the power to prevent it (for a price, of
course).
