I have been using an AMD 700 based server running Win 2000 for almost six
months now, with no problems. I found it's far more important to get the
correct motherboard than the correct CPU. I was using a SuperMicro board in
a server and it was bluescreening every couple of hours. After weeks of
work I gave up and went back to an ASUS board (I've used ASUS for years)
and never had a problem again.
