You can do this from the computers that are having problems? Or from inside
your network?
What's the domain name / server address?

Subject: [IMail Forum] SMTP problems
Hi,
I can't figure out this weird problem with the SMTP server. I am making
everyone authenticate to send mail through the IMail server, except for on
the local subnet. I have users that can not send using authentication from
outside the subnet but can send using authentication from inside the subnet.
The error message is "Unable to connect to the server" (... Error Number:
0x8000cc0e)" I am using Microsoft Outlook as the client. When I check mail
with the same user name and password it works fine. I am able to telnet to
port 25 on the mail server, so it doesn't seem to be a DNS issue (I've also
used the IP).
Thanks,
Ken
