As sure as someone has an email address they're gonna get junk mail.

I get junk mail sent to me at my home address too, if it's not mail that's
been posted its a flier put through the door.

I can only speak for myself but I like to make my own choices. Spam is a
nuisance but all I have to do is hit delete and it's gone

It is fundamentally wrong for somebody other than a mail recipient to decide
whether the mail recipient should or shouldn't receive an email.

What I really can't stand is when I get blocked from sending my members
their newsletter (which they have opted-in for) because somebody notices
that i'm sending a newsletter to 4/5000 people on their domain. In actual
fact my members are University Students and I do have up to 10,000 members
at some unis. Instead of trying to contact me they just block mail from my
domain so not only do my members not get their newsletter but everyone at
that uni can't receive any emails from any of their friends who use our
email service.

That's fundamentally wrong.

That's all I've got to say about that, didn't mean to rub anyone up the
wrong way.

Does anyone else agree with me?

Barry
