Yes, I have an idea about this error:
# dig gateway.trachtmanhenderson.com

It exists, but note the 10218 msec!!
and heres another one:
mgw1# dig gateway.trachtmanhenderson.com

This feels like eBay. Can anybody top 14304 msec! :)))
The receiving mail server most certainly timed out waiting for its DNS to
query for the domain gateway.trachtmanhenderson.com, aka @senderdomain, so
the mail server concluded it didnt exist. IMGate works exactly the same way.
I would guess that you have delegation errors that greatly slowdown resolution:
Errors
----------------------------------------------------------------------
o The name server "ns1.mlusers.net." is only listed in delegation data
The server "ns1.mlusers.net." is listed as being authoritative
for the zone according to the delegation data, but there is no NS
record for that server in the zone data. Delegation data and zone
data should always match.
o The name server "ns1.trachtmanhenderson.com." is not listed in
delegation data
The server "ns1.trachtmanhenderson.com." is listed as being
authoritative for the zone according to the zone data, but there
is no NS record for that server in the delegation data.
Delegation data and zone data should always match.
Warnings
----------------------------------------------------------------------
o The zone contains more than one authoritative name server with the
same IP address
The name servers "ns2.mlusers.net." and
"ns1.trachtmanhenderson.com.", which are authoritative for
"trachtmanhenderson.com.", have the same IP address
(216.99.37.208).
o The zone contains more than one authoritative name server with the
same IP address
The name servers "ns2.trachtmanhenderson.com." and
"ns1.mlusers.net.", which are authoritative for
"trachtmanhenderson.com.", have the same IP address
(207.168.106.132).
o Server name in the SOA record differs from server name in an NS
record
The name server with the IP address 216.99.37.208 is identified
by the name "trachtmanhenderson.com." in the SOA record but the NS
record uses the name "ns1.trachtmanhenderson.com." for the host.
