Just FYI:
Playing with 7.0, and the new web spell check functionality is only marginal.
It catches misspells fine, but is clueless at suggestions:
Original sentence:
This is not a test.
Misspelled sentence:
Thsi si not a tets.
iMail Suggestions:
Thsi [Hi CT DT ET]
si [i I S so]
tets [tetra tetchy tetanus tether]
4 other checkers got them all right, a 5th didn't catch "si" but offered
correct suggestions on the other two.
The above is an annoyance.
A BAD thing about the checker is it leaves a blank browser window around while
the java applet is running that users are likely to close. This means they'll
lose the message. When they go back in they may have problems spell checking
because iMail will think they are still checking the prior message they
mistakenly closed out(it will only allow one spell check session per user).
