You're on the right track, as you know imail std aliases groups will not 
function properly with more than 50 users in the group, now with 300 users 
on site i have a variety of email aliases that i have created with anything 
up to 300 users, and i have used the lists to do this . I have made them 
private and unpostable because i , as IT manager, control who is on what 
list (security and all that..). so i am using the lists as a large email 
alias group due to the shortcomings of imail. I was hoping that something 
existed to prevent on outside user (on the internet side of the firewall) 
from using these lists.
