There is no way to do this with Imail...even though it has been a feature
request for at least 2 versions. I believe someone does have a VBScript you
can run to do this, however it emails the warning and does not insert it
into the text file. Therefore if the user is already over their quota, they
will not get the warning and you will get a lot of bounced mail.

Subject: [IMail Forum] How to send notification on full mailbox

I posted this question once, and I was hoping someone might have some
insight. So far, there were no replies to my first posting, but I'm hoping
that's because everyone was too busy hashing over the IMailAV product, and
that there's still someone out there with a solution.

My question is this: how do we arrange for automatic notifications for full
mailboxes? We've recently decided to start enforcing space limitations on
our mailboxes, but it seems IMail doesn't send notification when the mailbox
is full (now *that* should have been an obvious upgrade feature). Ideally,
we would like to have IMail send notification to the mailbox owner when
his/her box has reached its space limit. Is there a way to set this up? An
add-on product? Or does everyone pretty much not bother with space
limitations?

Thanks,

Ben Bednarz
