Ladies and Gentlemen...
I need some advice from some of you experts. Newton Medical
Center has a full AT&T T1 line coming into a firewall that NATs to
our IMAIL Server.
When coming through the Internet, KWM is slow and does not load
all the images. Internally it works fine.
What we did was change the KWM config .cgi file to a Windows2000
Professional Workstation box running IIS5.0. On that box is KWM
Images. We do not use DNS or DHCP internally to the hospital.
Every device has a static IP address. In the .cgi file we
changed, I put it this way /XX.XX.X.X/Webmail Where Webmail is a
virtual directory for KWM Images.
This works fine internally. But, on the Internet through our
firewall and NAT it does not. AS I said before, it does not load
images. Plus, when I try to trace route from my home DSL
connection or other connections...the trace route dies and nothing
can be shown. I can still ping the box, but TR dies. Maybe that
is altogether another issue, but in my head I am putting the two
together.
Can anyone give me some ideas as to what to check or what I am
doing wrong?
