Re: [IMail Forum] Rules performance hit on Wednesday 4:48:14 PM
I have asked this question here before without answers but I can
tell you to watch out for the B~ body rule. If you have a lot of
these, they can make mail delivery last forever. We utilize a lot
of rules and we now use both Imail rules and Declude rules. From
time to time one or both fail. Sometimes Imail works where
Declude doesn't and sometimes Declude works where Imail doesn't.
Overall we see Declude rules as substantially faster and much
more versatile. I cannot imagine running Imail without Declude
any more. I think if you can get away without using the body rule
in each, it is preferable. If you can utilize the kill.lst, that
is even more preferable.
