Had a similar problem. Couldn't email a company overseas (austria) but could email other places...Turns out my DNS cache had been polluted.
Are you running DNS on W2K ? If so there is a setting in DNS (under properties/Advanced) called "secure cache against pollution". Havent had
any problems in a couple of months.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Cannot e-mail a specific Domain

I know it sounds like a DNS issue on their side BUT:

I have been able to e-mail them from other servers and AOL.  This has been going on for a over a week.  The domain is techie.com, they are hosted by mail.com  When I use the dnsstuff lookup they seem fine. BUT when I do an nslookup I get nothing for them. I can't figure out why I can't e-mail them.  Any help, ideas would be appreciated.
