I suppose this was launched at me. And how would one know how NSLOOKUP
will resolve addresses on somebody else's machine?

I  asked  for  information that we could not rationally be expected to
intuit, given the dearth of reliable information about the environment
in  question.  If  you don't think that getting information on how the
local  DNS  server resolves DNS records interactively is relevant, you
shouldn't be issuing corrections to our troubleshooting methodology.

Congratulations. Maybe, then, you should hold off on criticizing those
have been doing so for years. This seems to be a trend this week. :)
