Instead of trying to a smart head and telling this guy to uprade os and Ah ha what does nslookup tell you.  If you have to let a person guess at what you are trying to them them then you help is not needed.  Get straight to the point and let them know.  We volunteer to be on this list server and I am sure that no one person in the forum has never asked a question and been beat up as bad as this guy.    If you have a solution or something for him to try tell him.  I have been working with him most of the day off the forum.    My .02 worh   Eric
