That's doesn't matter. :)Don't bet on it. As Ron's WSJ article demonstrated so clearly, there are tons of spammers makeing tons of money, see nothing wrong with their UCE, and so won't play along with anything that costs $200 year, imo.If even half of the legit mailers get on this bandwagon I can see a real reduction in spam.
The idea of Habeas is that you don't have to get the mail from those spammers. If they don't spend the $200/year, or if they send unsolicited mail, you don't get their mail.
In order for the spammers to get to you, they have to use the Habeas headers, in which case they risk jail time. Spamming may be legal, but copyright and trademark infringement are illegal in all but about a half dozen countries.
