Once you do this, the queue should empty itself.

In these stuck queue situations, very often "send all" achieves nothing.


Imail 8 has new queue management, the reason being that queue mgmt before Imail8 was sucky.

Improved queue management is probably the major "plumbing" reason for upgrading to Imail8, esp for people running largish Imail lists.

Next on the plumbing wishlist in Imail8+ :

1) SMTP writing useful info into the log file, especially why a msg in the queue cannot be delivered, aka the reason for deferral (eg, you would know why the queue is stuck), plus

2) SMTPD reporting the Imail queue ID in the SMTP dialog when it has accepted a message.
