are they under the same domain name?

Exchange thinks that everything for that domain name belongs within Exchange.

There are ways around it but they are not pretty.

does anyone have exhcange 2k and I mail co-existing on same network? I have
them both and the Imail server can do anything you want it to. The pre-existing
exchange box can do anything EXCEPT send mail to accounts on the IMail server. Now,
keep in mind, that in the beginning Imail could not send mail to the exchange
accounts; howver, I added a host gateway in the IMail config that points to one of my
smtp virtual servers and it began routing to exchange accounts. Why would both these
machines send and receive email from any domain on the Net, but not to each other.

        Any help is most appreciated.

        John
