        ExampleA.com is on an external DNS. Website and mail server are behind a
        firewall with NAT on a local LAN. Internet looking for exampleA.com gets
        resolution from external DNS. Fine. Any thing on that LAN, if there is
        no
        zone for exampleA.com on the internal DNS server, will be sent to the
        external DNS server. They will then receive the public IP address, which
        they will not reach because the firewall will say you want this, it is
        on
        the local LAN, go there.
        
        Therefore, you have to use Split DNS. What you have to do is duplicate
        the
        exampleA.com zone on the internal DNS server except use the internal IP
        addresses.
