I do not know why everyone is saying th hardware is ole we are running XP pro on PII 350's with 8 gig drives and 256 megs of ram. They run great for their purpose of Office, email, and telnet.
Ram is cheap, HDD cheap, OS upgrade about 150. Depending on the number of machines you can save a little by bying on Microsofts Open license agreement. Build one machine with the base software run micrsofts sysprep, Image the machine with symantec ghost or Acronis True Image which is what we use and then duplicate to the other machines. Just another option that is not win9x or ME.
