Concerning the IPNOTINMX errors, I guess that R. Scott Perry and possibly others will chime in. On another note, getting the headers right are of utmost importance and I agree reading that RFC 2821 is conducive to sleepiness if not coma. But it has to be done. I would suggest comparing the header from a known-compliant mail server with what you are doing with your CF application first. When differences are identified, you can then look up the relevant section and details in RFC 2821.
