I have users that get this all the time too, but seemingly randomly.  Several things have been suggested while none of them seem to work everytime.   1) Check out IPSwitch KB Articles on the subject: http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-19990108-JK01.htm and http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-20020321-DM03.htm   2) I know with Outlook 2002 there may be an issue with OL issuing POP QUIT commands properly which can also produce this type of behavior.  (I mention this here because this is the POP client I use and wanted to see if anyone is experiencing the same problem.)  See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=317945 (SP2 didn’t solve the problem as the article suggests.)     Andy Ognenoff Online Systems Administrator Cousins Submarines, Inc.
