I have searched the forum and the IPSwitch site, but am unable to
find the answer to my question and was wondering if anyone out there has
seen this. I have a customer on my Imail server that is receiving duplicate
emails. They have their own domain with a static IP. They receive
duplicate messages sent from one employee to another employee and from other
people as well. They are not checking their mail too fast as suggested in
the IPSwitch manual.

In this case, looking at the two E-mails, both have:

        Received: from Amy [65.161.23.200] by domain.com
          (SMTPD32-8.05) id A0F74861010E; Wed, 07 Jan 2004 15:49:59 -0500

This means that one copy of the E-mail was received on your server, and then:

Received: from domain.com (unverified) by nickel.airtime.co.uk
(Content Technologies SMTPRS 4.2.10) with ESMTP id
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> for <cmorris@ domain.co.uk>;

Received: from Amy [65.161.23.200] by domain.com

the other one was apparently forwarded to another server.

So it looks like your customer has a mail loop.
