Hi there, if you plan to run Imail via Remote Administration using Imail Administrator you should read the following links
Link Manual: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/guide/imailug801/Chapter%2019%20IAdmin%20Remote%20Connection2.html
KB link http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-20010629-DM01.htm
However take into account that the information in the manual and knowledge base is missing this (as for August 4, 2003): “When running Imail Version 8.x you should have iaspam.dll running locally as well.”
If you don't have iaspam.dll running, the Imail Administrator Version 8.x won't run locally.
By the way, the remote administration feature is quite nice..but you need a fast connection because it takes a while to load all users and domains –if you have a lot of them-
