Because I haven't heard from anyone using ver 7.15 who is having the problem that we are experiencing with downloading attachments via Webmail and since this minor (or in the eyes of Ipswitch for licensing, major) version upgrade will be less of a hit in CPU cycles on our PII 300MHz/528MB RAM mail server. Besides, I have heard of numerous users using 8.01 who are having this problem.
I am also sort of irked that since Ipswitch change from user based licensing to this tiered license program, we are essentially also being asked to upgrade this as well. While we don't have a ton of users that are active on our current 250 user license, we do have 9 domains. So this means that we have to step up to Imail Professional with unlimited User/Domains. I guess we are ISP class now!!! I used to talk really well about Ipswitch when I recommended Imail to my customers and business partners. Could someone pass the Preparation H? Scott R.
