I am glad their standard respponse worked for you. But law of averages eventually it will work for someone.
I have had multiple issues with imail in the past and IPSwitch tech support forced the issue of it being the NIC. I was able to verify a failure in their software, but until I did they would not admit a problem. Here are two examples. The bug with Netscape 6 hanging webmail. I was able to finaly reproduce the problem and on the phone have IPSwitch tech support verify the problem. The latest was we were running out of client connections on on the server. I was able to finally figure out that it was the monitor service, specifically www monitor, not releasing the port when it was done with it. When I called them to let them know I had figured out the problem they told me they knew about it. But instead of trying to help me withe the probem they discounted it by blaming it on a faulty NIC.
