BounceFinder can be run on a workstation. All it needs is access to the
log file (although we are thinking of adding code to automatically
detect
the location of the current day's log file to make it a bit more
user-friendly; that would only work on the IMail server).
Next bouncefinder question...
Some of the FROM lines are empty, some have valid addresses of my
user's..what do the empty lines signify?
For example:
This is one of my user's in the from line
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Error: 550 [EMAIL PROTECTED] unknown user account
What is this? Blank From?
From:
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Error: 554 delivery error: dd This user doesn't have a yahoo.com account
