Hello, When my users attempt to access the help in Web Messaging, it takes up to a minute for content to appear in the popup window, if at all. Reviewing the Web Messaging logs, I find the following errors:
Web Error 10.0.0.10 0 - open failed for C:\IMail\Web\BSSCDHTM.html. And sometimes: Web Error 10.0.0.10 0 - open failed for C:\IMail\Web\whmsg.html. Web Error 10.0.0.10 0 - open failed for C:\IMail\Web\whproxy.html. Web Error 10.0.0.10 0 - open failed for C:\IMail\Web\whutils.html. Web Error 10.0.0.10 0 - open failed for C:\IMail\Web\whtopic.html. I believe that those files are auto-generated and served from memory by Web Messaging, as these files do not exist in the C:\Imail directory structure on my current or a new installation of IMail Server (8.0.2). Interestingly, this error does not occur when accessing help in Web Calendaring. I have performed a full re-install over the current installation of IMail Server. I have stopped the Web Messaging services and copied the entire C:\Imail directory structure from a new installation to my existing installation. I have reviewed all of the registry values in HKLM\Software\Ipswitch\IMail and HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\IWEBMSG without finding anything relevant. I am trying to avoid a complete uninstall and reinstall of my current installation, given the disruption for my users and when I cannot identify the source of the problem and guarrantee that a complete uninstall and reinstall will solve the problem. Ipswitch Technical Support has not provided a solution since I first contacted them in August, so I am appealing to this mailing list for advice or recognition of the situation.
