Well, I understand that you can't ping this IP as I have ping disabled on the firewall. I just double-checked my firewall settings and I have two policies for the Exchange server: one for HTTP for the OWA and the other for Mail(port 25).
As for making an SMTP connection, I can telnet to my server without issue from another server that's outside my firewall. That is the correct IP. Hmm... Can anyone else shed some light here?
