But this has nothing to do with senders capable of authentication.

Your  IMail  server  must  trust  208.251.220.35  for  relaying  by IP
(backward  though  this  sounds,  this is how IMail works), as well as
having  'swexchc.sofwerks.com  208.251.220.35'  in HOSTS. There should
never be a need for a wildcard remote sender to AUTH--how would Yahoo!
AUTH to your server? :)

You also need to consult your logs; that's the first place to look.
