An update in case anyone's following:

    She had 2 accounts set in Outlook, all set to AUTH. She removed 2, and
then her's worked flawlessly. She added the other accounts back, and it
stopped working. She has since moved the other 2 to OE, and uses hers in
Outlook, all works, and she's happy.

    Still don't know WHY it happened.
