I'm going to agree with Len here. I'm also a Windows admin, but kept hearing on this list and on the Declude list that Unix tools are the way to go. So I spent a day downloading, reading, playing, etc... and there is just no better way to do this type of thing. It is definitely worth the few hours of learning to be able to take advantage of such strong tools. I believe Bill stated that he was going to put together a cheat sheet for some of these tools for use with Declude log files. I think if someone did that, it would be highly beneficial to the entire community.


I know I'm very glad I took the time to learn!! Thanks to everyone that kept pushing the issue and made me finally give it a try!! :)
