When I go to dnsstuff.com and lookup the charlesindustries.com MX record it
resolves to 216.142.222.179, is there something I am missing here?

No, you're not missing anything. IMail is getting the correct IP. The problem is that IMail can't *connect* to that IP (whereas I can).

However, I do note that 216.142.222.179:25 is broken. It will immediately disconnect if you send it a single character (as is typically the case when using telnet). It still doesn't explain why IMail couldn't initiate the TCP/IP connection. It may have been a temporary issue on your end.

I still doubt the problem is with the web application -- I'm guessing there is something specific to the E-mails that it is sending (the specific domains it is sending to, for example) that is causing the problem.
