That's not very encouraging :)

Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] Losing network connection

I just bought the SAME server and I am having the SAME issue. I use the
server as a gateway server only. It happens to me randomly also. I
have not put any new NICS in yet, I have been doing other things to
troubleshoot the server. I updated the Broadcom Nic drivers and it
happened to me about 2 days later (server not responding). The thing is
the OS will still work, but I couldn't surf the net, couldn't ping any
Internal or External Servers nothing. So once I reboot it will start
working properly for a random amount of DAYS! I called Dell and they
were really no help, next step is to put a 3Com in the server and go
from there.

If you find anything out on your server let me know, and I will do the
same.

Thanks,

No, I have that stopped

The problem is happening at random times

I did have Dell's OpenManage Server Admin running. I stopped all
services related to that. Other then that there is nothing else running
on the box. Only the minimum, necessary services are running.
