I have four of theses servers (running windows 2000 SP3 and one Citrix, one
SQL, one file sharing, one Imail) without issue, using the intel and
broadcom incs ... it could be your switch? I'm using a dell 24 Gb switch
with the servers running at 1000mb.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Losing network connection

Need help!!

New server specs:
Dell PE 1750
1 GB RAM
Windows 2K SP4 all patches
Imail 8.05 all patches
Declude with McAfee engine
Our user base is only about 220 people.

On Saturday we migrated our e-mail server to a new box. A few times a
day the server refuses connections. I am able to logon to the box but
can't ping any other servers (internally or externally). I checked the
Imail logs and found more then 60 send error 10054 in a row. I checked
the Knowledge Base and turned off Power Management like they said. This
did not fix the problem. We are using the Onboard Broadcom GB NIC. Could
this be a NIC issue or something else?

Thanks for the help.

Rich
