My F-Prot is quarantining the .SMD files which are containing viruses, hence only a blank email is delivered to the user's inbox.
Are you using the F-Prot on-access scanner? It is recommended NOT to use the F-Prot on-access scanner on an IMail server (it will cause a lot of extra load, as it will scan .smd/.mbx files; it can delete legitimate E-mails; and, if not used with a mailserver virus scanning product, it will probably let quite a few viruses through).
