Sessions that authenticate to smtp.example.com will have the corresponding outgoing HELO. "Problem" remains unfixed.
MUA authentication/mail submission isn't the issue.
The issue is MTA to MTA/MX in the context of MX anti-abuse policies using DNS for verification.
