Maybe because you should have EHLO mail.dantor.com
If Imail doesn't have other conflicts with this approach, this would be best:
Imail default domain is mx1.domain.com
This fixes the Imail STMP-greeting + Helo hostname as mx1.domain.com.
So for the Imail IP, in DNS, these two records:
D.C.B.A.in-addr.arpa. PTR mx1.domain.com. mx1.domain.com. A A.B.C.D
But DON'T tell you clients to send their outbound to that mx1 hostname, which serves the role of DNS MX record for ALL Imail domains:
anydomain.com. mx 10 mx1.domain.com.
Create a virtual of domain.com.
Define this set of USER-published "functional" labels for every Imail domain:
smtp A A.B.C.D pop A A.B.C.D webmail A A.B.C.D
;and for historical (bad) reasons, this seems unavoidable mail A A.B.C.D
