SAV SMTP replaces the attached with the deleted0.txt which explains what files was removed from the email and why. We use that.
Please do NOT use that!!!
One of the most common complaints that we get are that viruses are getting through, when in fact they are not. Quite often, the issue is those "deleted0.txt" files that Norton uses. What's happening is that a user of a SAV SMTP mailserver gets a virus, SAV lets the virus E-mail through with that "deleted0.txt" file, which makes it impossible for other AV software to block the E-mail. Then, user complain that the E-mail got through.
If you do enable the awful SAV "deleted0.txt" functionality, be aware that you will likely get blacklisted. Viruses can be blocked relatively easily; bogus notifications cannot without directly blocking the source.
