Again, just curious where you're getting this info. Ipswitch's info contradicts what you're saying here:

The KB article here http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-19990611-DM06.htm Specifically says the opposite of what you're saying: Starting in version 8 you can enter: @*widget.com This will reject all mail from widget.com, bluewidget.com, nifty.widget.com, etc. In our Kill File, we'd like to get rid of nifty.widget.com but not bluewidget.com, which is why we entered the syntax the way we did, again, which Ipswitch says should work.
