here are three cool features they have that this list server lacks. Try them out!
don't have the time mess with forums.
1. Ability to subscribe to an individual topic, or topics, rather than the whole list.
... hmmm
2. More robust information about users, including user profiles and who's online.
what they say is more important than who they are.
3. Graphic emoticons :-o
yeah, right. Do they get huge sig images stuck onto each posting and avatars?

not really, it kinda sucks, but for lack of anything better...
Can't you gate the list traffic into the real indexing system used for the KB (didn't it used to say Infoseek somewhere?) ?
