IE is a bear to work with as far as problems like this. I'd try to reinstall
IE6.

She's just getting a login failure, and the logs show nothing more 
complex than that.

She can log in from her friend's machine, and I've logged her account in 
on two machines and two broswers (IE 6 and FireFox).  It's definitely 
something on her box.
